Sonja Hammer-The Squeamer goes microphone in hand to search out feminists who make zines at this years Festival of the Photocopier in Melbourne town and strikes it lucky with Woolf Pack a bunch of awesome women creators from Brisbane QLD who make a ‘Femzine’ and are launching their #4 issue!
So down underneath Flinders street in Degreaves subterranean home of Melbourne zine culture: the Sticky Institute, and there she finds busy women making zines and talking about their particular brand of feminism, plus readings of Horror monsters in film, The Hays Code and censorship,to Seasonal Gardening to Virginity, Vaginal Dentata, Alien , and the cake was vegan and a Space Blue Cake to boot!
