“PRANK” TO RELEASE ONLINE JUNE THIS YEAR WITH PLANS FOR FEATURE LENGTH FILM
‘The 80’s inspired short reminiscent of Nightmare on Elm St, Halloween and Friday the 13th will be released online in June this year via https://www.facebook.com/PRANKTHESHORT and its filmmaker is already in talks to develop it into a feature length film.
Written and directed by Alex Weight, “Prank” is a home-grown self-funded independent short that was named Runner Up People’s Choice Award at the Sydney Underground Festival in September 2014 and has screened at festivals all over the world including Shriekfest in Los Angeles, the NYC Horror Film Festival, Melbourne’s Monsterfest, Knoxville Horror Film Festival and most recently Cannes Underground Film Festival.’
